OCR: Mount Jiuhua Mt. Jiuhua (Nine Blossoms Mountain) of southern Anhui Province is one of the Four Sacred Mountains of Buddhism in China. It is renowned not only for its beautiful scenery but also as the home to many ancient Buddhist temples and monasteries. The construction of these temples and monasteries began in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and flourished and reached its peak during the Ming and Qing dynasties. More than 300 temples and monasteries were built, among which 56 are well-preserved.
